Tinitell 14 Day Return Policy

This return policy is valid for purchases made after the first publishing date of this policy, May 5th 2014. For issues with returns of paid Kickstarter pledges, please consult our Terms of Service.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase from tinitell.com for any reason, you can request a refund within 14 days after the product has arrived at your address. If you would like to return your Tinitell, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions and a return authorization number.
To be eligible for a return, the product and its accessories must be in the same condition in which you received them (free from liquid contamination as well as physical damage). The product must also be in the original packaging and include all original accessories: charging cable, 1 screw set, 2 screws, the manuals. We won’t refund or exchange any product that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. We need up to 90 days to process your request.
Exceptions to the returns criteria may be made at our discretion and you are welcome to seek approval by contacting us at email@example.com, if you wish to return your product but are unable to fulfil the aforementioned criteria.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned product. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed and the amount you paid for the product will be refunded to your account within 14 days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace products if they are defective or damaged per our one-year limited warranty. If you need to contact us regarding warranty coverage, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be responsible for paying for shipping to return your product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We encourage you to use a trackable shipping method as we cannot issue your refund until we have received your product.
Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We do everything we can to ensure that your order arrives at your delivery address in a complete and undamaged condition. If you do not receive all of the products pursuant to your order, please contact us at email@example.com.
You must inspect the product(s) immediately upon their arrival and notify us within three (3) days of delivery if the products arrive in a damaged or incomplete condition. If the product(s) arrive damaged or incomplete, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any and all refunds that are issued under this policy will be made in the Tinitell pricing currency of your original order.
We do not take any responsibility for any transaction costs and/or currency differences that appear on your end. Any and all costs or charges for shipping, handling, customs, taxes or gift-wrapping are non-refundable.
Refunds will be credited to the payment method registered by you with us at your time of purchase. Please allow Tinitell a period of fourteen (14) days after the delivery of your returned products to credit your account with a granted refund.
How to return a Product
If you need to return the product to Tinitell or a Tinitell authorized reseller for any reason covered by the Limited Warranty (for US customers), domestic consumer legislation (for non-US customers) or by the Return policy statement above, please follow the procedure below to obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Compose an e-mail with the following information:
- Your name
- Your Company (if relevant)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Product IMEI number
- A brief description of the defect.
Send the information to email@example.com. If your request is approved by Tinitell, you will receive a RMA number and address to ship the product via email within 48 hours. The returned product must arrive with Tinitell within 14 days of the issue of the RMA.
Pack the product securely and make sure the RMA number and your return address is visible on the outside of the packaging. Then, send it postage-paid to the address stated on your RMA approval. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to Tinitell as well as any and all risk of loss or damage to the product while it is being shipped to Tinitell. Please use a shipping company that can demonstrate proof of delivery. Tinitell does not accept responsibility for any lost shipments unless proof of delivery is provided.
Upon receipt of the defective product, Tinitell will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product, or accept the return of the defective product and refund to customer the full purchase price of the defective product.
Subject to availability, the repaired or replacement product will be shipped on the next 5 business days following receipt of the defective product. Tinitell will be responsible for the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you, provided, however, that products that do not qualify for warranty coverage under the Limited Warranty will be returned to you at your cost.

Products shipped to Tinitell must be properly packaged to prevent loss or damage in transit.
Tinitell preserves the right to, at our discretion, change this return policy. Such changes will be applicable on purchases made after the date when the policy was last updated.

We may also collect the handset information, like handset manufacturer, handset model, mobile OS, wireless carrier info for the purpose of enhancing the performance of our Mobile Apps by means of possible customization to certain type of mobile devices.

Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are impenetrable. If you use a password on the Service, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Do not share it with any other person. If you believe your password has been misused, please advise us immediately.
We store all personal information on secure Amazon servers located in the U.S.
Your Choice Regarding the Use of Personal Information
You may “opt-out” of receiving marketing or promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails or by emailing us at email@example.com. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations.
Tinitell retains your information while your account remains active unless you ask us to delete your information or your account. You can request us to delete your account and all data by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Safety & Regulation
Tinitell is a wearable mobile phone and smart locator for kids age 4 and above. It is CE, IC/FCB and FCC certified as described below. Tinitell is not designed and not recommended for kids under the age of 3, due to the small pieces / choking hazard.
BATTERY & DEVICE SAFETY REGULATIONS
- The operating temperature is -10 C to 40 C.
- The rating input (for battery charge function): 5V, 500mA.
- Keep the device away from sources of heat and fire, such as heater, microwave oven, stove, water heater, radiator, or candle.
- Stop using your device for a while if the device is overheated. If skin is exposed to an overheated device for an extended period, low temperature burn symptoms, such as red spots and darker pigmentation, may occur.
- Do not allow children and pets to bite or suck the device or accessories. Doing so may result in damage and or explosion.
- Only use the Tinitell provided magnetic cable to charge your Tinitell! You can also charge your Tinitell from a regular socket using a wall adapter with USB. USB charger adapters (like the ones used for cellphones) will regulate the supplied current and when the battery is charged they will stop charging the device. Tinitell is also equipped with surge protection to avoid overcharging.
- If you want to use a charging block with the Tinitell charging cable, please make sure that it is a 5V / 1A charging block and, if possible, choose a reputable accessory brand.
- Do not disassemble or replace the battery. If you suspect there is something wrong with the battery, please contact Tinitell Support (email@example.com).
Caution: Risk of explosion if an incorrect type of battery is used. Dispose of used batteries according to the instruction.
The battery should not be disposed together with other waste. The battery has to be disposed at an authorised place for recycling waste, and make sure the product is disposed in an environmentally friendly and healthy way.
Observe local laws and regulations, and respect the legal rights of the others.
