• What is Tinitell?

Tinitell is a wearable mobile phone for kids. Super simple, fun, and durable. It's one of the first GSM/GPS wearables with voice calling services and it works with a 2G micro SIM card. With Tinitell your child is able to call and receive calls in a safe and secure way.

Tinitell has one primary button to make calls with - just press and hold the big button to initiate a call. You can scroll through up to 12 numbers you want to call by pressing the + / - buttons.

Parents manage it from a smartphone app from where they can also locate Tinitell. The app is Tinitell’s command center. You can modify Tinitell’s settings, geo-locate it, you can control who can make calls and how.

The design is created by a team of Scandinavian industrial designers, and is also made to appeal to grown-ups seeking a basic wristphone for rugged outdoor activities, as well as to the elderly and disabled.

With Tinitell you don't need the smartphone attached to your device. It works independently, so that you will not worry about lost, broken, uncomfortable smart devices, while on outdoor adventures.

  • How it works

Tinitell is a mobile phone designed for kids, with calling and smart location features. It straps around the wrist, like a watch. It’s GPS enabled and works with any micro SIM card with a 2G connection.

It is one of the smallest mobile phones ever made. All you need is to insert your own 2G SIM card (we have some recommendations), and you’re good to go!

    1. Simply insert a SIM card. Choose a micro-SIM card from an operator that has a 2G network.

    2. Pair your Tinitell with the Tinitell app for Android or iOS.

    3. Add up to 12 friends. Via the Tinitell app, you can add, edit or delete contacts as you wish.

    4. Tap to call or answer.

    5. Tap up down to switch between the contacts.

  • Tinitell Can Tell the Time

Tinitell tells the time out loud and also shows the hour and minute with LED lights. Just press and hold the minus (-) volume button on your Tinitell for 2 seconds and it will say the time like this: “It’s 4:45 p.m.” and the LED lights will light up at the same time. You can release the minus button after 2-4 seconds; if your Tinitell won't tell the time like this, please email us to hello@tinitell.com

At Tinitell we want to keep things simple and make it easy for kids to learn time step-by-step, this is why Tinitell will tell the time with fractions every 5 minutes.

    Here's a short demo:

  • How reliable is the buckle? Can my kid remove the Tinitell?

We chose to make Tinitell’s buckle out of metal instead of plastic because metal is stronger. The design is simple, and easy to understand. Tinitell is not “lockable”. Kids will be able to remove Tinitell if they think it’s uncomfortable.

  • How is Tinitell data stored?

Privacy and Security represent two very important topics for Tinitell.

All Tinitell data is stored in an end to end encrypted database in Amazon cloud. The software accessing database is running in a secure environment with encrypted disks. All communication between our smart phone app and our servers is encrypted.

The access to our database is limited only to people who are absolutely necessary to have it.
